A Skiing Accident

A Skiing Accident, TWC Student's Composition, Model Composition

“I can’t wait to show off my cool moves!” Dax hollered. Last December holidays, Dax and his family went skiing at Mount Fuji. Dax adjusted his ski straps. He then propelled himself forward to ski down the slope. His heart thumped very hard like a drum.

Soon, he sped down the slope. He zoomed on the slushy snow. Biting cold wind grazed his face. Adrenaline rushed through as he sped down the slope. The scenery zoomed past in a blur.

Suddenly, someone swerved in front of Dax. Dax tried to brake but to no avail. He could not stop in time. Dax gasped in horror as the skier in front of him yelled a warning.

Dax and the skier had a collision. Dax had a graze on his elbow. Tears streamed down his face. He cried in pain. His parents quickly asked for a plaster to paste on Dax’s elbow. The other skier had an injured arm and his parents helped him too. He apologised to Dax for his reckless act. Dax accepted his apology.

Dax’s parents felt sorry for Dax. They wished that such an accident would never happen again.
